First Contact With Japan

This morning, I sent my 40 day notice to bring a pet to Japan. I filled out the form and e-mailed it to a special e-mail address at the Tokyo Narita Airport. I just heard back from them!!

There was no problem with me arriving within 10 days. They just want me to submit my flight information before they can give me the approval document. This is good news. All of my e-mails are extremely polite as business in their culutre is typically done with many "thank yous" and "pleases" no matter how much you may be indifferent about the business dealings.

Okay...whew...one obstacle jumped. Let's hope they all go this well.
