Wonder Con!

John and Phil examine the wares.

My exciting photo ops throughout the Con :P

John and I got a custom drawing done of us as Star Wars characters. John and I have the same skin tone in the Star Wars world. Also, that's my face, but definitely not my stomach.

The view from our hotel room. We were in San Francisco.

How could it completely slip my mind to do a post about Wonder Con? I guess I have been so overwhelmed with family stuff, I forgot.

Well, Wonder Con was the first weekend in April in San Francisco, CA. It's a comic book/scifi convention and is put on by the same people who do Comic Con (in San Diego).

It was a blast. We walked around and saw all sorts of small comic book artists, displays by toy companies, and any number of comic book retailers.

John's ultimate goal was to get an X-Men comic that had on the cover a tribute to the World Series Giants. After that, it was all fun and games :) We had planned to leave on Sunday night, but by that time we were so wiped from all the walking that we decided to stay through until Monday night.

It was good fun and probably my last Con in the US for awhile.
